Typical Lee & Miller. I love everything they write!
It is a pleasure to encounter some of the underpinnings to this set of stories. Everything hangs together almost magically, and the more one reads, the more one learns, and then you want to go back and read it again, and again, and every time, there is more there to be discovered!
Every book in this Universe has been a joy to read!
I like all the Liaden universe books, cant seem to get enough from these great authors. I not sure I would want to live in that universe but I sure would like to visit it more. Please keep writing more adventures in the Liaden Universe. There are soooo many interesting characters in it. I would really love to see a story about the healers.
If you are a reader of the Liaden series, you will understand my title and want this little book for that reason. If not, then you can rest assured that this is a beginning and you will find much much more available to read about these characters when you have enjoyed reading this story. This is a great introduction to the writing style of Sharon Lee and a great little visit with her ideas and a side tangent of her main storyline.
The Clan Korval books have already provided me with over 20 years of the most empathetic and entertaining characters whom you will adopt as weird old friends with understandable eccentricities.
I love the Moonhawk and Lute tales; and this one no exception. Magic, mystery and mayhem, adventure, and second chances.
