After all is said and done there is nothing left but REDEMPTION. The final installment to the RULES OF THE GAME TRIOLOGY finds everyone searching for some type of closure, but finding out that fate can deal a pretty cruel hand.
Leila Renard is back in Vegas after her questionable kidnapping. She’s well on her way to divorce from her cheating husband and has decided it’s time for a change of scenery, but for Leila, old habits die hard.
Zoya Daniels Baker is in trouble again, this time with the law following her plan for revenge. Now, not only is she facing jail time, but there’s a killer hunting her. Can the sexy FBI agent assigned to protect her save her from a date with death, and from herself?
Jamal Baker is about to find out the true meaning of brotherhood as he doubts everything about his life and looks for a way to get even.
Donnie Renard thought he had it all, until the life he’s built becomes the very chains that hold him hostage against the one woman he believes can change him.
The end is very seldom what one would predict for themselves, and these four individuals are about to learn that the hard way.
***AUTHOR’S NOTE To all readers, please be advised that this is the final book in the RULES OF THE GAME TRILOGY. It picks up where REVELATIONS (book #2) left off so it might be helpful to read the first two installments of the series before reading this story. Additionally, this is not a ROMANCE, while there are romantic elements in this story, the plots included in this novel cover infidelity, family drama, murder and general mayhem.

SPOILER ALERT!!! Don't read if you don't want to know some of the things that happen in the book.I enjoyed the series overall, but I did NOT like the book's ending and this is my least favorite in the trilogy; hence, the three-star review.
My issues with the book are:
1. The ending
2. The three brothers shooting each other and dying -- WTF??? I like to be surprised by unexpected outcomes, but c'mon now -- really???
3. Hated Donnie and Kendra as a couple. It seemed as if the author just threw Kendra in the book to couple her up with Donnie and the next thing you know the man is turning over a new leaf. The author's note claims this isn't a romance, but that is a standard textbook romance plot device.
4. The only flawless man in the entire book is a white dude who literally and figuratively is a 'White Knight'. Why couldn't that character have been a brotha? -- I'm just sayin'
5. The book never really explained Zoya and her motivations, it only hinted at her deception
6. The book never really explained Zoya's appeal. I, like many of the characters in the book, didn't understand her appeal and why men seemed to do things out of their nature to have her
What I would have liked to see is the total redemption of Leila's character. Who in their right mind would screw his/her kidnapper? Why would she stay if her kidnapper allowed her free reign over where she was being held 'captive'? I know Leila had issues, but that one smacked of incredulity.
I would have also liked it if Donnie and Leila could have repaired their relationship and made it as a couple. That would have been a great example of redemption and triumph. But, alas, I'm not the author.

Redemption Rules of the Game Book 3 edition by AC Arthur Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Finally the end of the nonsense... I don't really understand the whole moral of this series...still so many unanswered questions that I really don't like the books. Why did Jamal have to die, and what is the whole story behind this drama.
Loved this series of books. What did not particularly like was the way this story ended, it was not clear. I am glad that there was some happy endings but I guess someone had to die; so it ended up being the brothers who had so much love for a woman that it turned them against each other.
I really loved the first book which is why I purchased the last two without reading the reviews. I found the last two books just stupid and lack of a good plot. I hated the ending because I felt no one really found redemption. The detective protected that check and then falling in love was just stupid.
If you have read Rules of the Game, you have to read this as well. I am so in like of this series, omg!!! I actually had to go and find the next book soon after I read this one. Not sure how the sequence goes but I think I read it out of order but that's okay, all of the books are truly page turners. Keep up the good job A.C.!!!
After reading the this series I found that there was a lack of a good plot.I kept waiting to find out what really made Zoya tick and why things happen to her and what part she really played. I hated the ending because I felt no one really found redemption. The detective protected that check and then falling in love was just stupid and I couldn't understand why he was at the funeral of Zoya's husband, that was just in bad taste.
Wow, this book proves that sex, crime and trying for revenge only leads to danger, heartache and death. Nothing can buy happiness, not any amount of money. I'm sure at one point everyone wishes they have money, but they need to be grateful for what they have.
A.C. Arthur is off the chain. This book should have been called Revelations to the 10th power. Ok so if you have read the previous two books you know the gang is all here... But what you don't know and have to read to find out, is how everything is connected and inter-related. Nothing has happened by happenstance. I am sitting here still shocked by the ending..... Ooooooooooo A. C you were wrong for that one...LOL.. I am truly, truly outdone, because not everyone gets redemption, some will not make it out of this alive. This is as far as I can go without spilling the beans.... Oh and keep an eye on hot pants Reshemah in this, she's a slick one....This book has more dips and turns than a roller coaster...Loved it.... now go get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
